The Foreign Ministry of Kosovo has confirmed that among the injured from the attack on a school in Finland, there is also an Albanian student.
The Embassy of Kosovo in Stockholm is in constant contact with the Finnish authorities and the family of the injured Albanian girl.
"Regarding the tragic event that happened today in the city of Vanta, namely the Viertola school, where one person was killed and two others were injured, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora through the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Stockholm has managed to confirm from family members that among the injured is also an Albanian girl from Kosovo. The Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Stockholm is in constant contact with the local authorities and the family of the injured girl and has offered its assistance according to the instructions received by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora will keep you informed as soon as it receives and confirms the new information related to this tragic event", says the announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo.
A 12-year-old was arrested for the incident, while the age of the injured is thought to be the same as the perpetrator.
