Lawyer Romeo Kara has spoken about the hearing on the "Babale" file for DP deputy Ervin Salianji, which will be held on April 12.
The appeal will decide whether to uphold the decision of the First Instance, declare him innocent or give an alternative decision.
Regarding this file, Kara said that if the prosecution has been provided with facts and evidence, the decision will be upheld. According to him, politics cannot be done with conspiracies and intrigues, and if this decision is given in a definite form, it will be very serious.
He emphasized that he hopes to make a decision that is not influenced by any of the parties.
"I don't know the file in detail to express with conviction what will happen. If facts and evidence have been provided to the prosecutor's office, we will surely uphold this decision. If this decision is given in a definitive form, I think it is very serious. Now we cannot do politics, making conspiracies and intrigues. As far as this policy is concerned, this policy is over. I don't have it with the person, I have it with the phenomenon.
I hope that they will not be influenced by both sides of politics, one to convict him and the other to release him, but give a fair decision", said Kara for "Abc News".
