The Director General of the State Police, Skënder Hita, was asked by journalists about the assassination attempt that occurred in Lezha, where spouses Kreshnik and Gentiana Mujeci were killed.
He stated that the perpetrators of the incident are still being sought, while he announced that several checks were carried out today by the RENEA special forces.
"The police have made direct communication since the first moments. The investigations have continued this morning, we have carried out several checks with the RENEA special forces, but it has not yet been possible to capture the perpetrators," said Hita.
