Democratic Party MP Bledio Nallbati reacted after the Korça Court's decision that imposed the security measure of mandatory appearance on his brother, arrested 1 day ago after a conflict with a truck driver.
In a statement to the media, Nallbati described the event as a political stunt while accusing the Korça police director and the SP Korça district political leader, Niko Peleshi, of having intervened in this event.
"The prosecutor, the former subordinate of Niko Peleshi, the person who personally dealt with the staging and falsification of this unfounded accusation, goes to court and says she doesn't know what happened and asks for a security measure to be imposed on a person. I'm sorry that the judge became part of this political staging. It's understandable why you heard Rama in Devoll yesterday, he spoke for an hour or so and didn't say what he will do for Devoll but was only concerned with this case, all of this was staged," said Nallbati.
The incident occurred a few days ago at the intersection of the city of Bilisht, where Altin Nallbati, the brother of the Democratic MP, hit a driver of a heavy tonnage vehicle.
