The former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, is being questioned again today by SPAK. While Beqaj is inside the premises of the Special Prosecutor's Office, he has been fined again.
The Municipal Police officer has placed a fine sheet on him in the car.
This is the second time that Beqaj has been fined for wrong parking while going to SPAK.
The former Minister of Health Ilir Beqaj is in the premises of SPAK to be questioned about the sterilization file.
During the week, BKH questioned the former Deputy Minister of Health and businessman Ilir Rrapaj in prison.
The situation of the former Minister of Health worsened during November 2023, a few months after SPAK received the court's approval for the appointment of personal security measures, arrest and imprisonment for businessman Ilir Rrapaj.
Beqaj has repeatedly stated that he only performed his duty, although on the other hand SPAK has documents, from which he suspects that Beqaj, with his actions and inactions, has misused his duty.
On the other hand, the Special Court has taken a tougher stance towards the former Minister of Health, demanding that a financial investigation be carried out against him, and has even indicated that the evidence provided by SPAK leads to suspicions that the former Minister of Health Health may have falsified documents and there is a possibility that corruption has also been committed.
However, currently the measure "obligation to appear" is in force against Beqaj. Every Friday, he must appear at 15:30 before the BKH officer.
