Leonard Quku, former editor-in-chief of Syri.net, the "Reestablishment" portal of Sali Berisha, in a note on social networks denounces the opposition for the silence regarding the construction of the highest tower in Tirana and the demolition of the last park in the capital.
Quku writes that the builder of the tower behind the opera house is the financier of the activities of Reestablishment and some of its media.
"The vocal deputies of the Democratic Party, lined up on the side of Reestablishment, have received orders not to feel. Messages of the type: "Let it be ours" were distributed on their phones. The reason is simple to understand. The businessman who is building is the financier of the Reestablishment activities and some surrounding media. Therefore, even in none of the media that denounces the decision-making of Erion Veliaj and Edi Rama, the construction site at the flower garden behind the Opera and Ballet Theater does not exist", emphasizes Quku.

How many times have pits been opened in the center of Tirana to build 30-40 storey towers, the opposition has resisted and denounced by name. And it has done well. Some of the deputies of the DP have become a fence together with the civil society, doing a considerable service to the public interest. Today is the beginning of the end for one of the only flower gardens in Tirana, the one between 9-storey and TOB. In this place, a skyscraper will be built that will be called "Mountain of Tirana" with a total of 58 floors, 185 meters above the ground. I am not against development, nor against investors, on the contrary, they are in their right to do business. But what is disturbing has to do with keeping "silent" the entire process that has accompanied the journey of this tower.
Undoubtedly, the government does not care about the noise. But even the opposition was not interested in making public the permit that turns the last flower garden in Tirana into concrete. The vocal deputies of the PD aligned on the side of the Reestablishment, have received orders not to feel. Messages of the type: "Let it be ours" were distributed on their phones.
