The lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu has stated that the increase in house prices in Albania can be curbed by prohibiting their purchases by foreigners.
In an interview for Euronews Albania, he said that this is difficult to do as the partnership between the oligarchs and the rulers is very large and politicians cannot harm their interests, as they are interested in increasing prices.
"If it's a government that thinks about the people and the Albanians, it will have to, just as it doesn't allow boats and ships, there should also be a pause period, they won't allow foreign citizens to buy houses in Albania.
Of course, this also has its negative sides, but this is the legal and legal solution to this crisis. If we have a government of the people, it should consider and discuss this", said Spahiu.
