Alma Kaçi, whose name was mentioned a lot by the media after the publication of the video scandal of the former mayor of Kukës Safet Gjici, spoke this Sunday about the accusations brought against her.
She said that she had not actually gone to Safet Gjic's office to win a tender, but to expose what was happening in the office where Gjic performed his function as mayor.
According to her, she went there for an investigative show and that the accusations made against her for active corruption are unjust.
" I went for an investigative show. It was not only the part of the tenders, but for the abuse in the office. How the mayor used the office. The tender was just a fable. How could I receive the tender? I got pregnant with a different last name.
After I had realized the goal, I had no intention of getting a tender or a project. This was not the motive, I am not an association that receives tenders. The accusations brought against me are unjust ", said Alma Kaçi in "Euronews".
