ISHP confirms 17 cases of measles, Eugena Tomini appeals to parents: Vaccinate children

Measles cases continue to increase in Albania. According to the data of the Institute of Public Health, 17 cases of measles have been confirmed so far.

12 of the cases have epidemiological links and clinical signs.

Out of 17 measles cases, 12 of them are related to each other, but are not from the same family.

A day ago, the Director of the Institute of Public Health, Eugena Tomini, called for the vaccination of children, guaranteeing that it is not the cause of autism. 

In the latest report, the World Organization gave the alarm about the drastic increase of measles cases in Europe, about 45 times more than in 2022.
