After placing a quantity of tritol in the apartment of the judge of Shkodra, Tonin Sterkaj, the High Judicial Council at today's meeting has decided to assign protection for the judge and his family.
All members decided by unanimous vote that for a period of 6 months, Judge Stërkaj and his family should be placed under the protection of state police officers and the "RESI" department.
A small amount of tritol was placed on the morning of April 28 at the door of the apartment of the judge of the Court of First Instance in Shkodër, Tonin Sterkaj. At the time of the explosion, the judge and his wife were in the apartment. Judge Sterkaj's testimony did not help the investigators. He stated that there were no major issues under consideration and that he has not received any threats recently.
