"Are you on the subway? Shame on you"/ The tower in the middle of

Analysts Ilir Demaliaj and Gent Gurimi have spoken about the construction of the multi-story tower that is expected to be erected after TKOB and the accusations that Sali Berisha's son is hiding behind it.

In an interview for "News 24", Demaliaj said that justice does not work in Albania, adding that politics is linked to crime. He said that based on the statements that Sali Berisha gave about the charges related to his son, it seems that he is actually hiding behind it. This is because, according to Demaliaj, Berisha does not oppose the construction of the 'monster', but tries to find excuses.

At this point, they clashed strongly with Genc Burimi, as the latter addressed Demaliaj, saying that he should be ashamed of accusing the opposition for that construction in the middle of the capital, and not the government. Demaliaj also stated that he does not exclude the responsibility of the government and added that the destruction of the country started with Berisha's government and reached the highest peaks with Rama's government.

Excerpts from the debate:

Ilir Demaliaj: Berisha should have asked not to erect this tower. Berisha tries to find an excuse, calling on Rama to revoke the permit, but this is not a challenge. Berisha does not explain why it is not his. All connections lead to the fact that it belongs to Shkëlzen Berisha. The assets of these politicians and their family members are criminal.

There is no need to make empty rhetoric. Justice does not work in Albania, this is the problem. We have not been able to build independent institutions. If the financial sources are mentioned, it is quite clear where this money came from. I know a mayor of the neighborhood, his own son with a Range Rover, he himself with a Range Rover, a three-story villa... a neighborhood mayor, what about those who have government positions? Those who talk about corruption and money laundering for the towers, those who reveal... why didn't they talk about this tower? Did they not know that a monster is rising in the middle of Tirana? This shows that the connections that are being talked about are also logical if you see them.

Genc Burimi: I am shocked by Mr. Demaliaj's reversal of history. Imagine that in the middle of Paris it is decided to build a tower and the analysts do not deal with the government but with the opposition. I agree that Demaliaj is terrified of Berisha and hates him… calm down people.

Demaliaj: Did I summarize everything?!

Source: You think it is Berisha who decides to build a tower in Tirana, are you on the subway?

Demaliaj: The permission was given by the government and the bad thing about this policy is that both are responsible. I do not exclude the government, but the government is standing because it has this opposition.

Source: Do not stand up because there is support from your Americans... are you ashamed or not that you deal with the opposition and not the government?

Demaliaj: If it's for shame, you should be ashamed

Source: Shame on you, a 200 meter tower in Tirana...

Demaliaj: Let me talk now, I have not done anything to be ashamed of

Source: Defends the government and recognizes corruption

Demaliaj: Yes, not enough, you have become like those generators....

Source: Free yourself from Berisha

Demaliaj: You are Berisha's pawn

Source: The man who reminds me of me was not born. I take everyone in turn, I am with justice...

Demaliaj: Be a little more moderate because you come from France. I am telling you that the destruction that has been done to Tirana and Albania started with Berisha and was raised to the highest levels by the government. Because it is in the hands of the economic mafia.

Source: Yes, but what does justice do? Today I am looking for a solution. Radical reforms are needed, it doesn't work like this anymore.

Demaliaj: I think that a step is being taken, but I do not believe that crime and the government are very connected
