The Special Court, at the request of SPAK, extended the investigations for the drug laboratory in Fier for 3 more days.
The Prosecutor's Office is waiting for the letters from Colombia, which have not yet arrived in our country, and for this reason, it was forced to ask the court to extend the investigation by another 3 months.
About 430 kg of cocaine mixed with chemical fertilizer were brought to the village of Frakull in Fier.
For this matter SPAK has signed 15 arrest warrants, meanwhile 10 people have been arrested.
The laboratory would be set up in the residence of the former mayor of Frakull municipality, Viktor Červanaku.
Meanwhile, the order was made in the name of his brother Zenel Červanaku. The Colombian citizen who arrived in our country to separate cocaine from chemical fertilizer is also wanted, a process that the Albanians could not do.
Those arrested from the SPAK operation for the cocaine laboratory are:
Viktor Cervanaku, Zenel Cervanaku, Denilson Cervanaku, Enxhi Ferhati, Nikolin Gjolena, Klajdi Vrioni (Kodra), Julian Malaj, Redion Meshi, Bledar Matoshi, Marildo Rona.
Also, two Colombian citizens, who were involved in the processing of cocaine, have also been arrested. Another is wanted.
In addition to cocaine, 5,910 euros, 3 Kalashnikov automatic firearms, 3 pistol-type firearms, 108 pieces of combat cartridges of various calibers, 18 mobile phones, 5 vehicles, 2 laptops and 2 shotguns were seized.
How did drugs come to Fier?
The drug load arrived on July 7 at the port of Tivar, from the port of Buenaventura in Colombia with the ship "Monte Cervino".
There were 20 pallets in the container.
The first sign that the pallets were loaded with something more expensive and not artificial fertilizer was the huge difference in the value of the load and its transport.
A scan was performed and the scanner did not detect the load.
As soon as the container arrived at the port, the officials of the customs department in Montenegro opened the container and unloaded the goods, where they were initially unable to determine the exact chemical composition of the goods that arrived in the country with the equipment they had.
Then the customs agents notified the police, and then the scientific police determined the chemical composition.
After that, the Albanian authorities were notified, where the secret interception, monitoring of transport and controlled delivery began.
