The request of the Together We Win Coalition for a repeat of the elections in Elbasan was rejected unanimously and with a final decision by the Electoral College. Their claims were mainly related to the manipulation of the equipment through which voting was done and counted electronically.
"BF" representatives have requested computer expertise from foreign experts as well as verification of the result produced by electronic devices with printed sheets.
But just like for the Kamëz municipality, where it was also voted and counted electronically, their requests were rejected first in the Complaints and Sanctions Commission and then in the Electoral College.
We remind you that on May 14, the socialist candidate Gledian Llatja won with over 56% of the votes against the "Together We Win" coalition candidate, Luciano Boçi, who secured 43.62% of the votes.
Also, the Electoral College has suspended the trial regarding the lawsuit of Lefter Maliqi regarding the elections in the Municipality of Kuçova on May 14.
Maliqi had requested the annulment of the decision of the Appeals and Sanctions Commission to open the boxes for recounting and re-evaluation of votes in all Voting Centers. But the College has decided to dismiss the case, thereby dismissing the request of the former candidate of the "BF" coalition for the Municipality of Kuçova.
