The former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, appeared as every Friday at SPAK, around 15:30 today, in implementation of the measure set by GJKKO for the obligation to appear in the context of the investigations being carried out against him for the concession of Sterilization.
The defense of the former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, has been asking for two months for the prosecution to make available the investigative file in his charge, but still has not been able to get it.
Beqaj said that the Prosecution has created obstacles for him to receive the file and that he demands that the judge act quickly.
"Since December after the first session, we have asked to get to know the contents of the file, which is voluminous, and this request has been accepted. But even though it has been more than two months, SPAK has created artificial obstacles for us to prevent the file.
The lawyers have addressed a request to the prosecutor, Erjon Bani, and I would like him to act quickly," said Beqaj.
The security measure against him was set in November last year.
The investigation by SPAK is about the violations that it is claimed that Beqaj committed in the sterilization concession worth 100 million euros and 10 years term won by the businessman Ilir Rrapaj who is now under arrest together with the former Deputy Minister of Health , Klodian Rrjepajn.
