Neritan Sejamini, discussing Greece's blockade of Albania, through the refusal to publicize the letter, which would serve as an invitation to our country for the opening of the first five chapters in the negotiations with the European Union, said that it is a formality.
In an interview for the show "The Unexposed", he said that Greece has found a way to express its protest against the Beleri case, by not signing it and thus blocking the start of talks on the five chapters.
" After the negotiations have been opened for Albania, the first conference is held that presents the start of the negotiations. A review of the entire situation is made and then the negotiations begin. Public finances, law enforcement, etc. are seen. The negotiations are done in chapters. What has happened , the first phase is over and now concrete negotiations must begin.
After this phase ends, the EU makes an official invitation to Albania and plans how it will negotiate. There is a formal letter that is signed by all member countries before coming to Albania.
Greece does not sign it and this letter does not come. To start the process, this formal invitation is needed. Until today this letter has been formal. Greece has refused. If Greece does not sign it, concrete negotiations will not start. It means that it is postponed ," said Sejamini, among other things.
