The head of the KLP, Alferd Balla, has reacted strongly after the decision of the Appeals College, which prohibits him from being part of the judicial bodies for 15 years. Alfred Balla agreed to enter the vetting as an assistant judge, but then resigned and requested the termination of the revaluation.
KPK did not make a decision on him, but the Public Commissioner appealed the decision, stating that according to the law, he should be out of the system for 15 years, including the current post. KPA issued a decision today and accepted the findings of the commissioner, dismissing Balla and banning him from being part of the system for 15 years.
On social networks, he has exploded in attacks and accusations, as he warns of an appeal in Strasbourg.

Although I hoped that it would not be affected, today the KPA (the majority) took a shameful decision to terminate without a final decision my vetting as a former legal advisor in the Supreme Court where I worked 8 years ago, accompanying with the prohibitions of Article "G" of the Annex of the Constitution, which are imposed only on those who resign or are dismissed from office where there was no occasion for me.
This decision left me with a bad taste even though it has nothing to do with my current status in the KLP, as elected by the Parliament from the ranks of civil society and not as a magistrate.
For clarification, this is not a dismissal decision, as no administrative investigation has been conducted against me.
Based on this decision, in the future I cannot run for certain positions, of course, until the ECtHR pronounces.
I feel sorry for my lawyer, who was convinced that the case was won, based on the entire practice of the KPA itself...
