Journalist Klodiana Lala has commented on the incident of violence that happened in Borizana, where the Rraja and Maja tribes were involved in the conflict, also focusing on the easing of the charge by the Prosecutor's Office for the Rraja tribe.
The latter were brutally beaten with baseball bats by members of the Rraja tribe.
"We clearly saw how the baseball bats hit the bodies of Bilbil and Jashar Maja. Influenced prosecutors were convinced that by justifying themselves with this act of expertise they could save members of the Rraja tribe. Today, two people were forced to give up their complaint. They are forced because they are faced with a mafia scenario. If the Prosecutor's Office wanted to do justice and if those who violated were not the close people of a former MP, it could request an expert opinion. But this was not done" , said journalist Lala.
Lala also recalled that the reaction to this event came only after the publication of the video of the violence.
"It is the whole rotten system that they have come to this conclusion. We are not forensic experts. But there is a decision of the Tirana court that a man's shoulder that fell on his wife was considered intentional serious injury. So blows with pistol barrels are considered minor injuries. This event started with a bang from the beginning because they were people of a well-known man. Bilbil and Jashar Maja were left unconscious on the ground, raped. But why did they withdraw? An amnesty is coming and in a few months if they complained again Rrajat would be saved. "The two brothers and the son of the former MP are still free today," said Lala.
