Arlinda Pogaj announces the tender for decorations and orders that the President no longer gives, but the Prime Minister; the deadline for submission is December 15, 2026, ready for the 2027 local election campaign, while dozens of complaints about abuse of public funds against her remain without any reaction from SPAK...
Dozens of public denunciations continue to be made about abusive tenders in costs, limit funds, contracts and fictitious financing, which are announced and developed by the Director of the Centralized Purchasing Operator, Arlinda Pogaj, but there is no action from SPAK, the structure investigating corruption and theft committed by officials.
This inaction by the judiciary has given courage and created security and calm for the "Tenders' Front" to continue signing deals with public funds, even signing fabricated tenders that are clearly propaganda in the service of the government.
In the Public Procurement Bulletin dated May 4, 2026, the Director of the Centralized Purchasing Operator announced the tender with the subject: "Purchase of decorations, orders and medals", with a limit fund value of 175 million old lek including VAT.
These decorations, orders and medals will be purchased on behalf of the Council of Ministers, in accordance with the law amended by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who has removed the right of the President of the Republic and given it to himself.
The tender will be held on May 14, 2026, while the deadline for implementing the contract, i.e. the production and delivery of the decorations and medals, must be completed by December 15, 2026; apparently, so that Prime Minister Edi Rama can have them ready to distribute during the 2027 local election campaign./ Pamphlet
