The trial of former mayor of Roskovec Majlida Bufi has been postponed again. The reason is the same as in the past, the absence of her and her defense attorneys.
This precedent of consecutive absences has forced the GJKKO to issue a final ultimatum that if they do not appear at the next session, the process will continue without their presence.
Another measure today was the fine of lawyers, setting a fine of 5 thousand euros each. Today's hearing was for the defense of the former mayor of Roskovec.
SPAK previously requested a sentence of 1 year and 6 months in prison for Majlinda Bufi, on the charge of "using public office for political or electoral activity".
Bufi does not risk going to prison because SPAK has suggested suspending her sentence and placing her in "Probation Service" for 2 years.
