Analyst Genc Burimi has spoken about tomorrow's opposition protest and the blocking of the main road segments in the country.
The source said that PD has gained points in the eyes of the international community. He said that the EPP resolution is exceptional. According to him, after the protests, PD will also present the economic program, which is of great interest to Albanians.
"The number of protesters does not matter. The opposition is gaining points in the eyes of the international community. The last resolution of the EPP, which was proposed by the DP, is extraordinary. DP has won extraordinary points with the EPP resolution. I don't believe that blocking the roads is a problem, because in France there are large farmers' protests and there is no problem. After the rallies, the opposition will move on to the economic program. Today, this opposition thinks that it is of the utmost importance to hold fair elections. The EPP resolution for the majority is very heavy. This, as it affects justice, affects the arrests of opposition leaders. The incidents at Rama's meetings are normal, since this prime minister travels expensively by charter, when he leads a poor people" , said Burimi.
Regarding the date of the elections, the source stated that this issue is not very important, but the fact that the rights of the opposition are being violated.
"The opposition does not say that there is a problem with the date, but there is a problem with the functioning of the institutions. Even the opposition wants to have time for the vote of the diaspora to be counted as accurately as possible. There are two resolutions of CDI and EPP, which state that in Albania the party-state uses state resources for its own interests. The opposition is gaining positive ground in the international arena. My sources tell me that the opposition did not ask for the date 4. If the opposition wants the date May 4, it should hold a meeting. The majority has violated the rights of the opposition. Today, the opposition is not answering much about the date of the elections, because it is returning the rest to this majority", said Burimi for "News 24".
