Analyst Fatos Lubonja, commenting on the approval of the criminal amnesty in the parliament, said that the opposition has stepped on a rotten board.
Invited to the show 'Open' on 'News24', Lubonja emphasized that Albania is in a situation where "the king has gone naked". He also added that the Assembly, by approving the criminal amnesty, sent a message to SPAK, discouraging it in the fight against corruption.
" We are in the conditions where the king has come out completely naked. The penalties so far have gone to the directors. These kamikazes get the message that two years in prison is worth the theft they have committed and provides for their grandchildren. The second is a clearer message for a part of SPAK. It is a discouraging message for the fight against corruption.
If the compromise is the middle seal between the opposition and the majority, for me it is not worth it because there is no compromise with a criminal government. I think that even the opposition has stepped on a rotten board ", stated Lubonja.
