"It gives me more pleasure", Ben Blushi chooses between literature and

Writer Ben Blushi declared that he will not return to politics, preferring to focus on literature.

Blushi said that it is literature that gives him the most pleasure.

"If I didn't have the desire to write, I would probably be in politics today. But I am a writer and that gives me more satisfaction. I give this five stars," he said.

Blushi also spoke about his creative process, emphasizing that he dedicates himself to writing without interruption.

"I have a superstition that if I put a book on hold for a long time, it will never be written again. I write up to five pages a day. I finished the book Paradise in just 10 days," he revealed.

According to him, the main challenge for writers today is the limited time of readers.

"People are busy with work, social networks, weekends and other activities. This makes writers read less," said Blushi, emphasizing the importance of focusing on today's readers.

"If I didn't have the talent of a writer, of a person who will write, I would be in politics today. I don't think I'll ever go back (to politics). I'm a writer and I'll continue like this. This gives me more satisfaction. I give this 5 stars."

Today's life is no longer like that of classic writers, they got up in the morning, wrote, had lunch, wrote, like Ernest Hemingway did, who woke up at 5 in the morning and wrote until 12 noon. I have a small superstition that if I interrupt a book for a long time, it is no longer written. I have friends who say that I wrote this book for 2 years, I can't understand that... Staying for 2 years, 1 page a week... I write up to 5 pages a day. The first book, "Living on an Island" took me longer, it took 6 months. The others were faster. The book we are talking about today, Paradise, was written in 10 days, very quickly.

The terror of writers today is the time of readers. Readers don't have time because they work a lot, deal with gossip, there are social networks, sports, there are weekends. There used to be no weekends, people slept at 7 o'clock. There was no music like they do today. Today, writers are read less because people's free time is spent on these other things. That's why Paradise is so short. 1 month ago, a German writer said this is my last book, about 1 thousand pages. Having this stress myself, I tell him how can you write it, can anyone read it? I have no problem, he said. He had written a book about an event in the Balkans. Maybe in Germany they read it, but not in Albania", Blushi expressed.
