The former mayor of Mallakastra, Agron Kapllanaj, has filed a complaint on social networks, as he claims to have been blackmailed.
In a reaction on "Facebook", Kapllanaj says that a person has modified photos with his image and threatened him, asking him for a sum of money or otherwise he would distribute it to his friends.
After the former mayor refused to pay the requested amount, the blackmailer distributed the photo with his image to Kapllanaj's relatives.
The former mayor says that he will file a report with the law enforcement bodies.
"Hello my friends! During the night someone sent me a modified photo or video showing my image!
The person who sent me these photos blackmailed me that if I didn't pay him a certain amount of money he would distribute these photos to my friends, and apparently he did so because I refused to pay! I have saved the whole conversation with his threats and blackmails and as soon as I return to Albania (because I am abroad at the moment) I will refer them all to the law enforcement bodies to file a report. I guarantee you that those images are made up and nothing is real. I'll close with an apology to anyone who came across those images with my photo! I wish you a good day", writes Kapllanaj.
