The former president and head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta was transported to prison 313 after the prison sentence that was given to him.
Journalist Anila Hoxha told "Breaking" details of Meta's imprisonment and what happened before he went to the cell.
"Ilir Meta was transported to 313, which is right next to the Special Prosecutor's Office, SPAK. Throughout these hours, until the early hours of this morning, Ilir Meta was kept under observation, which is otherwise considered as a transit area. As official sources from the Directorate of Prisons inform me, Ilir Metën has been sent to sector B, the observation phase has ended. He has been kept under surveillance by psychologists, medical checks have also been done. After this phase has been completed, he has received the status of a detainee. These medical checks are done against every citizen who is kept in the observation phase, immediately after the court announces the measure of arrest and imprisonment for any possible criminal offense" , said Anila Hoxha at the beginning.
Then she stopped at the demands of Meta, who had asked for a gym and environment to carry out sports activities.
"It has been confirmed to me by the General Directorate of Prisons that Ilir Meta has been decided to stay alone in the cell. As very sure congratulations tell me, Meta has been looking for an environment for sports activities, he has searched and asked the employees of 313 whether or not there was a gym where he could do sports. This was his first request. It has been confirmed to me that after routine medical visits, it has been established that Meta does not suffer from any health problems and these data are written in his card, as well as his psychological state, that psychologists and social service workers have noted that his condition appears calm.
Yesterday, the prison institutions, in the cell they accommodated him in sector B, also installed a television, while clothes were accepted from abroad, which were brought by members of his family. Food products have also been accepted" , said the journalist, among other things.
