Bad weather has 'stuck' the country, causing problematic situations in several cities and road axes.
A difficult situation has involved several road axes in the Shkodra Region over the past few hours, where hail and snow have created difficulties in vehicle traffic.
It is reported that several families, including children, have been stranded on various road segments. According to reports, over 200 vehicles are attempting to move towards Koplik.
The nation's road was also problematic, due to rainfall and sub-zero temperatures.
Due to the presence of ice, three road accidents were recorded along the Milot-Kalimash segment, involving around 15 vehicles and injuring 6 people.
Pogradec and Korça were also covered in snow. There was also precipitation in the Qafë Thana area, which created traffic difficulties and kilometer-long queues.
Even on the Prrenjas-Elbasan axis, hundreds of vehicles have been stuck in traffic for several hours.
Meanwhile, the National Road, in both directions of the Kukës - Kalimash Tunnel, is facing heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds, which makes traffic more difficult.
Meanwhile, authorities are asking citizens to be careful when driving and to equip themselves with snow chains and winter tires.
Movement in the Shkodra Region has been restored thanks to the intervention on the ground, where the Traffic Police services and snow removal vehicles are located, which are in constant coordination to manage the situation and guarantee road traffic safety.
Meanwhile, problems have been identified on the axis from the Buni area of Bajraktar to the descent towards the city of Koplik.
Also in this context, all drivers are appealed to respect road traffic rules, avoid unnecessary movements on problematic axes and follow Police instructions.
