Former Prime Minister Pandeli Majko has told one of the stories of the Kosovo war that he learned during his visit to The Hague.
He considers the meeting with Hashim Thaçi and Rexhep Sejdini a pleasant day, even though they were in prison.
" On that visit, I had a very vague feeling. Boredom at the same time. We were searched like we were going, but those were the rules after all. This burdened us psychologically. When we entered, the first person we met was Rexhep Sejdini. Who tells us why we are here, did not even let us ask the question, give some kind of resentment, addressed us. He told us a story: Somewhere in the middle of the war, when the child was alive, he came and met Rexhep, but he was very upset. He says we have a very big problem, only soldiers are being killed, no commander. What is this war, he said, but soldiers are killed, none of us commanders. After a few days, the child fell to the task. It took me 15 minutes to recover from that story. Then Hashimi (Thaçi) came, with humor, with jokes. We had a nice day, even though we were in prison ," said Majko.
