President Bajram Begaj has reacted to the death of journalist Vera Zheji, the iconic voice of Radio Tirana.
Vera Zheji passed away yesterday at the age of 91.
Through a post on social networks, Begaj described the journalist as a 'great lady' of the microphone and the stage.
"A woman who is almost difficult to have equals in the quality of journalist, announcer and woman with a free mind. Announcer, journalist, actress and teacher of Artistic Speech at the Higher Institute of Arts, Vera Zheji will be remembered with honor as the "big lady" of the microphone and the stage", writes Begaj.
