
The Albanian lawyer Eva Buzo, due to health problems, was forced to stop her initiative to swim 91 km from Otranto to Vlora.
After about 28 hours in the open sea, Buzo is currently in intensive care at the Vlora Hospital.
Initially, she was placed in intensive care, as according to the doctors she had hypothermia due to staying in the water. Currently, doctors report that her condition is stable, while from the hospital, Eva also gave a message.
"Hello everyone just a short message, I'm fine. I am being monitored and will get back to you as soon as I can. Thank you all so much, what a swim!” she said.
The lawyer left yesterday morning from Otranto, Italy to arrive by swimming in Vlora, but after about 28 hours at sea she was forced to stop the challenge 10 miles from Karaburuni.
The swim, which was expected to last 35 to 40 hours, was interrupted in the last few hours as Buzo was getting closer and closer to our shores.
