The Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) has not yet taken concrete action against the GJKKO judge, Irena Gjoka, as it is awaiting an official letter of request from the Greek authorities. According to the chronicle journalist Klodiana Lala, despite public denunciations and documents referred to by individuals such as Sali Berisha, the investigation cannot move forward without evidence officially received through diplomatic channels.

" The prosecutors are waiting for the letter-order from the Greek authorities. This evidence cannot be obtained in person, but only through official channels, even though Mr. Berisha has published the documents. The prosecution is waiting for the materials to arrive from Greece to act, this is the procedure ," Lala told "News 24".

According to her, although the criminal offense of forgery is statute-barred, Irena Gjoka had a legal obligation to declare it on the Decriminalization form. Failure to declare constitutes a serious violation, not only legal but also ethical, calling into question her legitimacy as a judge in a special institution such as the GJKKO.

" She cannot have forgotten this detail in the statement. I have said it before, even without documents. But Ms. Gjoka cannot continue to exercise her duties as a judge. We have precedents, such as a senior judge who was permanently excluded from the system for a minor matter in Italy. This is the standard and must be implemented ," Lala stressed.

The journalist also raised serious accusations against the vetting system, expressing surprise at how Irena Gjoka has passed the filters without this conviction being revealed. She warns that if action is not taken quickly, the case risks damaging trust in justice and opening the door to institutional blackmail.

" How is it possible that such a judge has passed the vetting? Under these conditions, judges become easily blackmailed. This is dangerous. A quick reaction is needed, including through diplomatic channels ," she added.
