Neritan Sejamini has spoken about the "hysteria" of the Albanian media and the conspiracy theories that spread after the murder of Liridona Ademaj, which was staged and ordered by her husband, Naim Murseli.
Sejamini said that the way this serious event has been handled by the media has blurred the facts and spread "strange theories".
According to the analyst, this type of media coverage is abusive and does not serve public opinion, but simply creates a soap opera that seeks to "grip" the public.
"I tried to understand, has all this media coverage brought anything new? The only information we have is what the Kosovo police have given. Hours have been broadcast by the media, but they have only spread some of the strangest theories .
The media aims to serve the public opinion, meanwhile it has only confused and played with emotions. With this approach, those facts of the police and justice have been blurred.
It's played with emotion, it's turned into a soap opera. Ordinary people have been targeted and put on camera.
I understand that there are many events that have an impact on the public, but this is a macabre work that does not even teach a lesson. It is a macabre case and the motives are unknown, there is no point in generalizing it.
