Mark Stone, the American correspondent for Sky News, is a war correspondent in Sderot, a city in southern Israel, from where he analyzed the latest news from the battlefield.
British television reports that Stone has reacted to Israel's claims last night that SAK troops have surrounded the bunker where Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar is located.
"It is an important claim, if it is correct. He (Sinwar) has been the leader of Hamas in the Gaza Strip for years and is clearly the head of the snake," said Stone.
Sky News writes that these claims that Sinwar is surrounded were made known by Yoav Gallant, the Israeli Minister of Defense, who did not give any other details about where the bunker of the Hamas leader is located, nor what will happen now.
Hamas's Gaza leader Yahya Sinwar has been 'isolated' in his bunker, and IDF troops are in the heart of Hamas's 'stronghold', Gaza City.

"What the Israelis need is a reward. "They have to announce a major victory ... and if they can announce that they have killed the leader of Hamas, that would be a very significant moment," Stone said.
He said it would "probably cause a wider escalation in the Middle East".
"This would certainly shock the region. It would certainly provoke a response from Hezbollah, Hamas' ally in the north. We are currently in a very tense period", concluded Stone.
