The Criminal Court of Kosovo has upheld the suspension from office and travel ban for Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, in a session that lasted more than 3 and a half hours.
Journalist Klodiana Lala reports that during the session, at one point Balluku stated that its suspension creates a vacuum in the government, asking: " If Edi Rama leaves the country, who will call the government meeting ?"
Balluku has also opposed the measures for her two subordinates, arguing that Elezi should be active due to the difficult water situation at KESH, while Gjyli, according to her, should be in the field managing problems caused by bad weather and the condition of the roads.
"We, as a government, have sent this issue for review, you should do the same ," Balluku is reported to have said, according to the journalist.
