The lawyers of the former prime minister Sali Berisha, Sokol Mêngjesi and Genc Gjokutaj, appeared this Friday at the secretary of GJKKO to receive the decisions of judge Irena Gjoka. Yesterday they received audio CDs of the sessions.
The new request for the dismissal of the judge is expected to be presented today within the official schedule.

Yesterday, at 3:00 p.m. today, it was expected that there would be a decision on the tightening of the security measure in "house arrest" under police supervision and "communication ban" against the former prime minister, but judge Irena Gjoka has decided to postpone the hearing for Saturday, December 30 at 12:00 p.m.
The postponement of the decision was made in order to give the opportunity to the defense lawyers, Genci Gjokutaj and Sokol Mêngjesi, to file their request for the exclusion of the jury.
Berisha's defense lawyers have requested several written acts, evidence, among which judge Irena Gjoka's decision-making in the past sessions, as they claim that she has shown bias in the process.
Thus, Sali Berisha will learn about his fate on December 30. He is accused of passive corruption regarding the privatization of the former Partizani complex. He has considered this process as a political trial, organized and directed by Edi Rama, which takes place with the aim of eliminating the opposition.
