The number of prosecutors seeking to become part of SPAK has increased to 8. A few weeks ago KLP opened the competition for 3 vacancies and today is the deadline for those who are interested. Although there were initial hesitations, today there has been a boom in applications and among them there are quite well-known names.
According to the information, a well-known name that has just submitted the file is prosecutor Ndini Tavani . The prosecutor in question was dismissed from the KPK, but the KPA reinstated him. He is a prosecutor who has handled sensitive files in his career. Tavani has claimed to be in SPAK since the structure was established, but the KPK decision has penalized him. The prosecutor with a 15-year career is known for investigating corruption cases and the only one who sent a former minister (Spiro Ksera) to prison before the reform.
Prosecutors Pali Deçolli, Bledar Maksuti and Anita Jella have also expressed interest . Prosecutor Deçolli is a prosecutor in Durrës. He passed the vetting, although there were some problems. It deals mainly with cases in this district and one of the known files is the one when the Prosecutor's Office of Durrës was stolen.
Anita Jella was the chief prosecutor in Durrës. Jella started her career as a prosecutor in Elbasan in the years 2001-2003 and then worked as the head of the Librazhdi Prosecutor's Office until 2007.

In September 2018, Sonila Muhametaj was one of the three prosecutors transferred by order of Chief Prosecutor Arta Marku after a conflict in the Prosecution of Serious Crimes regarding the "Shullazi" file. Muhametaj filed a lawsuit against the decision in the Administrative Court and won the case, returning from the Prosecutor's Office of Puka to that of Serious Crimes.
Meanwhile, Olsi Dado is currently a commanding prosecutor at SPAK. The High Council of Prosecution, KLP announced on March 15 that at the plenary meeting on March 6, it unanimously decided to give a positive opinion on the temporary transfer of prosecutor Olsi Dado, to the Special Prosecutor's Office Against Corruption and Organized Crime, SPAK, after addressing of demand from this structure. Olsi Dado worked in the private sector and as a notary, before being appointed a prosecutor in the Pogradec Prosecutor's Office in 2008. In 2010, he was transferred to the Prosecutor's Office of the Judicial District of Tirana, while from 2020 he was assigned to the General Prosecutor's Office as an assistant magistrate. , a transfer that was terminated on March 6, to begin a new command at SPAK.
Albert Kuliçi is another well-known name that has had sensitive files. He became famous after there was an assassination attempt against him.
