Journalist Ferdinand Dervishi has revealed some of the issues on which SPAK will have rapid developments as far as investigations are concerned during 2024.
Invited to the show "Frontline", on Report TV, he spoke about the file of the properties of the naval forces, and said that the investigation on this matter has taken a completely different course, including many people who are currently being investigated by the Special Prosecutor's Office and added that the involvement of the Ministry of Infrastructure appears for the first time.
"One of the files is the file of the army, the assets of the naval forces that has received a terribly extensive investigation. It can bring developments for Xhaçka. The procedure of connecting the lease with Marina Bay Saranda, for the base of Limjon for the sea and for the land, i.e. 2 concessions, is being investigated. And this brings the Ministry of Infrastructure into play for the first time ," Dervishi said.
While giving details on the file of the properties of the naval forces, Dervishi said that several other files are also being investigated, such as the change of the headquarters of some institutions without the permission of the president, as well as a "secret" museum worth 6 million euros during the pandemic when the ministry of Defense had limited expenses.
" It is the procedure of handing over the naval base to the Marina Bej company, allowing occupation and construction without a permit on the property of the naval fleet in Porto Romano, construction without a permit inside the naval base in Shengjin. Attempts in 2016 to manipulate state laws and override the president's decision to remove these properties from the military registry. Marina Bey Saranda has been seized by court decision.
