The village of Kryekuq in Divjaka was shaken yesterday evening by a serious incident, where after a conflict, Xhesion Toromeni stabbed Besmir Kumri to death.
A village resident says that the incident had deep roots and was related to property conflicts between two families, so it was not a momentary conflict.
"A serious event and the village is very shocked. There have been conflicts over land and it has not been resolved. The families have been good and orderly, but the cause of the conflict is only this, there is nothing else. They came from Gramsh, they have been in our village for years.
"The boys were regular, they did everything their fathers told them, they listened to their parents. Conflicts need to be removed, parents need to be more careful, conflicts need to be extinguished," Kasem Taragjini told "News 24".
