The head of resuscitation in Vlora, Edmond Breshani, has told about the health condition of Eva Buzo, a lawyer with a great passion for swimming who dreamed of uniting the Albanian land with the Italian one.
Breshani told the media that Eva is in a stable state of health, she is conscious but with a slight fever from fatigue.
"He just arrived, he came from the sea about half an hour ago. He is currently in a hemodynamically stable condition. She is conscious, a little tired and a little feverish from fatigue. But the indicators are normal. Blood pressure, pulse and other indicators of the general condition are good" - said Breshani.
Asked in what condition she was presented at the hospital, the doctor said that Eva was shaking a lot due to cold, fatigue and dehydration, but she is receiving the necessary treatment and it will take her about 4 hours to recover.
"He came in a state of shivering from cold and fatigue. There was a loss of fluids, probably also due to the metabolism that is increased due to the effort. It will take about 4 hours to recover. We are already maintaining him with fluids, warm compresses and cool environment.
In the first moments she came here, she could articulate but we didn't communicate much because we didn't want to tire her. However, he tried to answer the questions. He was in a tired state, not that he was suffering from any health problem. There were signs on the body from fatigue, from the blow, from the bites that he may have had, there were some kinotic spots on the body. There was no tan, only redness," said the doctor.
Sakaq, the coach of the young Albanian woman who oversaw the entire journey, pointed out the difficulties of this challenge, adding that Eva Buzo is already in good health.
"To spend 35 hours in the water is actually... Nothing happened in the sea. I told you guys, you need to talk to him about this. Don't ask me about her health condition, you should ask the doctors. But she is fine. It's fine, there's no problem. Thjesh is checking the time, but now there is no other problem," said Buzo's coach.
