There is no end to the wonders of "ONE", the citizen is fined 400,000

Many citizens continue to share their stories where they express their dissatisfaction with the telephone operator One Albania. A girl who ten years ago signed so that another person could get a mobile phone number with a contract and a landline.

The person who has been using the number has paid off all the obligations towards the former company AMC, Telecom and today ONE, but has not renewed the contract.

"It is an issue related to an old telephone number, once AMC, then Albtelecon, today ONE, for a landline telephone set, a number in use, which was obtained in 2013. In fact, this number was obtained under my name, but it was used by other persons. And after 10 years since this number was received, I am contacted by a law firm D&A Fin Partners who say that it turns out to be a debtor. They also send me all the data. It is true that I signed for that number and for that telephone, but I did not use it."

Based on all the documents, the person who had the number in use, has paid off all the obligations towards the former company AMC, Telecom and today ONE, but has not made a contract renewal. However, ten years after the conclusion of this contract, the citizen receives a letter from the law firm "D&A Fin Partners" for a penalty.

QUESTION:  How much do you currently owe ONE, according to them?

Complainant:  Without the penalties they claim, a value of approximately 400 thousand old lek. But, of course, if the case goes to court, it is assumed that costs will increase.

The letter states that the citizen in question is a debtor and must pay the amount of 37,629 new alleks.

After receiving this letter, the citizen in question is interested in the person who had the number in use and comes to the conclusion that there was no debit.

"They don't give me an opportunity to understand what it is about because this contract was not closed ahead of time as claimed by the company because the person who had the number in use regularly paid the bills, until termination of that contract."

So where did this value accumulate?

The "D&A Fin Partners" office, through an employee who prefers to be identified simply as Ledia, contacts the lady on WhatsApp and asks for the obligation. Asked if she should continue with the payment to the account numbers given in the letter, "Ledia" says that the whistleblower's file has already been transferred to another department and she does not know how to give an answer.

But if the citizen had paid to those account numbers, where would they go? Would it be called?

Beyond the many questions that arise, the "D&A Fin Partners" office threatens the citizen with a lawsuit, if the file is not closed.

She has not been contacted for 10 years in a row and as she herself declares, she has not changed her address. Where was ONE all this time? What about the "D&A Fin Partners" office?

"During 10 years, it seems impossible that I have never been contacted. While I have not changed my residence. Let's be realistic, 10 years is a long time. I was then a teenager and today I am much older, I have created my own life and it is something that comes completely suddenly. But what they told me was that we will go to court, after the last notice they sent to my workplace." / VOICE
