Journalist Erl Murat stated that the word "storm" in the DP only makes sense if there is a change in leadership, that is, the chairman. Any other changes, from the vice chairman and secretary general or all the others, are useless moves and cannot be called a storm.
Murati also said that there is a numbness in the DP and this comes because everyone in the DP, from the second in command to the building guard, has their eyes on the big guy, Berisha.
"I do not believe that the DP and the opposition as a whole expected something essential to change from the US in its relationship with the government and the elections as a whole. Berisha, every time he lost the elections, the next day he would say he was asking for early elections, it is a constant thing that he has maintained throughout his political life. If he expected any positive signal from the US, it was before the elections, I am talking here about the lifting of the ban on women or the possible visit of an American official who would make to Albania and would also meet Berisha. At the moment that May 11th happened, I think that the DP should look ahead. The relationship of the DP and the opposition as a whole should be with the next elections, not these that have passed, since the legitimacy of the Assembly, as far as I understand, will be recognized, as they say we will enter Parliament.
