The week has started with unstable weather and rainfall that began over the weekend. According to meteorological forecasts, Tuesday will record the highest amount of precipitation.
The western lowlands are expected to see higher intensity rainfall on Tuesday. Meanwhile, in the northern and northeastern areas there will be snowfall throughout the day. The snow is expected to include Bajram Curri, Puka, Dibra, Bulqiza, Kukës and other mountainous areas.
Temperatures will drop compared to recent days, when minimum values have been above the February average.
In mountainous areas, minimum temperatures will fluctuate around 0 to -1 degrees Celsius, while maximums nationwide will reach up to 14 or 15 degrees.
The rain is expected to stop temporarily on Wednesday, returning again on Thursday and Friday. According to current forecasts, the weekend and the remaining days of February will be characterized by cold weather, but without precipitation.
