Former President Bamir Topi has reacted to the passing of former SP leader Fatos Nano. In a post on the social network "Facebook", Topi writes that he appreciates his behavior with political opponents, while recalling a case when Nano, according to him, exceeded his political position and voted for Topi for president of the country.
"Regret for the passing of Mr. Fatos Nano. Nano was a civic, liberal politician and a modern communicator in politics and society. His political behavior with political opponents was full of predisposition for dialogue and compromise. I am personally grateful to him, as he went beyond his political position to vote for me as President of the Republic, avoiding the political and constitutional crisis. May he rest in eternal peace," Topi writes.
