President Bajram Begaj has congratulated the Albanians on the occasion of "Summer Day". Begaj shared the traditional elements of this holiday, which is celebrated throughout the country to herald the arrival of spring.
The Head of State brought to attention how this holiday was welcomed in his hometown at dawn on March 14, when children announced the arrival of the spring season.
"In my childhood, March 14 started with the little ones distributing to each house a bundle of newly sprouted wheat, olive branches and plum blossom branches. This was done to wish a prosperous, peaceful and joyful spring. May this holiday bring prosperity, prosperity and joy to every Albanian home", writes the President of the Republic on Facebook.
