The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has changed the charge against the members of the Rraja tribe in relation to the episode of violence against Bilbil and Jashar Maja in Borizana, Kruja.
Unlike the initiation of the investigation for "deliberate injury, in collaboration" after the publication of the violence with baseball bats, the prosecution has assessed that the investigation should continue for the charge of "intentional minor injury". The change in qualification came after the administration of the forensic medical report on the injured.
Regarding this, the journalist Klodiana Lala, who also published the document, reacted strongly.
"They beat you and don't let you cry. Protect the bullies until they come to beat you too..." Lala wrote on her Facebook profile.
How did the event happen?
With baseball bats, hard objects and pistols in hand, 8 people went down and brutally raped two cousins, Bilbil Maja and Jashar Maja, in a bar on the Fushë Krujë-Thumane axis.
The State Police arrested 4 people and declared 3 others wanted for the brutal beating of the two cousins Bilbil and Jashar Maja.
For the incident, the police escorted a total of 8 people, while Ineidi Rraja, Eni Kullaj, Kujtim Përdaku and Andi Rraja were arrested.
Among the perpetrators are the two brothers of the socialist deputy Rrahman Rraja, specifically Flamur and Xelal Rraja, as well as the son of the deputy Rexhep Rraja.
According to the police, the cause of the serious incident was a quarry in the village of Borizane owned by Pëparim Rrajës, a relative of the socialist deputy who has a permit for use and a license for the activity.
Cousins Bilbil and Jashar Maja had reported to the police that the explosions during the quarry work had caused material damage to their homes but also inconveniences.
The day the incident happened, the Maja cousins were in the bar with the quarry engineer when the group of thugs entered the bar and started hitting them with sticks until one of the Maja cousins passed out while being hit while the thugs pointed the pistol at him.
Police forces from Tirana have already blocked the quarry.
