After the rally in front of the Prime Minister's Office closed, hundreds of protesters continued their march through the streets of Tirana, moving the protest to some of the most important nodes in the capital.

Currently, the protesters have stopped in the "December 21" area, where they have sat in the middle of the road and blocked vehicle traffic. Footage from the scene shows dozens of citizens sitting on the asphalt, while others continue to hold banners and articulate calls against the government.

The blockage has caused difficulties in the movement of vehicles on one of the busiest roads in the capital, while police forces are also in the area monitoring the situation.

The protestors' march comes after more than three and a half hours of rallying in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where for the first time the organizers presented a platform with five concrete demands, headed by the government's resignation.

Unlike the first protests, which focused mainly on the Zvërnec project, today's rally took on a much broader political character. Throughout the protest, calls for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama dominated, while slogans against the opposition and the political class as a whole were also present.

Organizers have announced that the mobilization will continue in the coming days, while the movement appears to be moving from a protest against a specific project to a broader political and civic action.
