Former MP Spartak Braho has called Sali Berisha's failure to appear at SPAK today, January 21, a sign of fear.
Braho said that if Berisha does not go to SPAK, they should take him by force.
" He is afraid to go to SPAK, he knows his end, he creates an alibi, no he did not receive the summons, no he is unaware. Imagine what we have had at the head of state as president and prime minister. Sali Berisha is an incorrigible monster, they should take him by force with the police like they took Meta. The charges against Meta are not in this category, he is accused of a state crime for murder, plus others. One day he will definitely go with grace or without grace ," he said.
Braho said that SPAK is obliged to investigate January 21, following the Strasbourg Court's decision that it must be investigated as it is a state crime.
" I am convinced that as long as the Strasbourg Court says that this matter must be investigated and there is evidence that those murders are considered state crimes, SPAK is obliged to investigate it, and I can even say that it is very late ," he said.
While focusing on the 'Gërdeci' issue, the former MP emphasized that Berisha is involved in this issue with his entire family.
" Berisha is involved with the entire family in the Gerdec case. There is a media charge but he is being prosecuted at large, the evidence will then be assessed by the court as to whether he is guilty or not and it will decide whether he will be criminally punished or acquitted ," he said.
Asked if SPAK is controlled by the majority, he denied this.
" I can't say that the majority controls it because the justices of the majority have thrown arrows at SPAK, including the prime minister. Justice is power in itself, there are those who control it, but not politics ," he said.
