Prime Minister Edi Rama continues to reward his friends, making them all strategic investors. Dukagjin Lipa, the father of the famous singer Dua Lipa, who has been announced as a strategic investor in Lushnja, has joined the list.
According to official data, he is building a photovoltaic park with a production capacity of 100 Megawatts/hour in the area of Fier and Lushnja. At the price of 1 euro per meter, the investment exceeds the value of the property, so as the law recognizes, he automatically becomes the owner of the land.
So apparently Dua Lipa's frequent visits with her father to Albania and meetings with Prime Minister Edi Rama and Tirana Mayor Erjon Veliaj seem to have a hidden, camouflaged purpose, beyond what was sold in the media as beauty promotion natural of the Albanian coast.
On June 7, 2022, Lipa's businessman father, together with Sunny Hill administrator Hysen Ruka from Kukësi, opened a company with equal shares, which he registered in Tirana. The company DH SOLAR PARK LLC has as its object the construction of solar panels and the sale of energy.
The capital of the company is 100,000 ALL and it comes exactly at the moment when the minister of MIE Belinda Balluku announced support for businesses that will produce and sell energy through solar panels.
And as it has already become common practice, in order to be declared a strategic investor in Albania, you must meet only one criterion; to be a friend or relative of Prime Minister Rama.
This is clearly noticed, since the entire clan of the prime minister is being rewarded with this status every day, starting from Gazmend Paja, to Olta Xhaçka's husband, (Artan Gaçi) to Gjergj Luca and Pëllumb Gjoka.
