The rain that continued overnight has caused problems on the Burrel-Skuraj road.
In some segments of this road, especially near sector "C", landslides of rocks and debris have been recorded, making vehicle movement difficult.
This problem poses a danger to drivers traveling from the Dibra region to Lezha, Shkodra, Kurbin and beyond. The landslide phenomenon occurs whenever there is rainfall in this area with difficult mountainous terrain.
It is learned that some vehicles were forced to turn back due to the temporary traffic blockage. Meanwhile, the maintenance company has started work since the early hours of the morning to clean and open the road.
This segment remains quite problematic, especially at night or in rainy and foggy conditions, as there is a lack of road signage and in many parts there are no metal guards, which increases the risk of accidents, especially near Lake Shkopet.
