Interior Minister Taulant Balla has reacted in terms of security in the country, after the serious incident where lawyer Sokol Mêngjesi was barbarically raped.
Balla emphasizes that no one can be stronger than the law.
Furthermore, Minister Balla has stated that there have been increased checks by the State Police as well as attacks on individuals or criminal groups.
"Above the law and citizens cannot be strong and there cannot be stronger individuals than the white of the road lines or the red of the traffic lights. The increase in checks, investigations and strikes against individuals and criminal groups by the State Police, SPAK, etc. is creating more security for citizens and the many tourists who visit Albania. Congratulations to the Local Police Directorates of Tirana, Shkodër, Korçë, Vlorë, Fier and Durrës for the operations of the last 24 hours", said Balla.
