The deputy of the Democratic Party, Ina Zhupa, has announced that Alfred Peza has resigned from the direction of RTSH. Through a post on social networks, she announces that this institution has finally been freed from him.
In fact, it has been talked about in the media corridors for days that Peza has resigned. It was Prime Minister Rama who asked for such a thing, because of the great burden he created with the dismissals and the Song Festival. Apparently this thing is confirmed by Zhupa.
" A small victory for the liberation of RTSH from illegality with the forced resignation of Alfred Peza! Before he was elected, I denounced that his election was being prepared by order; When he was elected, I denounced him as an illegal election, that he did not meet the criteria of the law, that he should not have been a deputy before two legislatures, that he should not have been running the media for the last 6 months, that he should not have been a shareholder in the media, but they still kept him illegal. During the short period of his stay, I denounced him as an abuser of his duties with illegal dismissals and outside any norms of the labor code and moral and human norms. In the same abusive way, he hired without any criteria and managed RTSH's public funds as personal ", says Zhupa.
She further declares that the SP deputies in the Media Commission did not rise to the height of their duties, having the violations in front of their eyes, they did not take any measures.
" RTSH is a public asset that is maintained with the taxes of Albanians and must be run on the basis of the law and in the service of the public interest. I call on the governing council after this next failure to follow the law next time when choosing the new head of RTSH ", she writes.
According to information, Peza has caused millions of euros in damage to the budget from illegal dismissals. Dismissed employees have gone to court and won up to 20 back wages. This seems to have plunged RTSH into collapse. / Pamphlet
