The government has approved a new decision that updates the legal framework of international coercive measures in Albania, reflecting four new European Union sanctions decisions.
Upon the proposal of the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the government has integrated the latest decisions of the EU Council (CFSP 2025), which include updated lists of individuals and entities sanctioned for terrorism or security issues.
The implementation of the decision will be supervised by the relevant authorities under Law No. 72/2019 on international coercive measures.
This reaction by the Albanian government underlines its commitment to harmonization with European foreign policy and strengthening resilience against international threats.
